Detailed Description of Responsibilities:

• Serve as "Subject Matter Expert" related to Civil, Structural systems.
• Civil/Structural SME to support various projects at our NAMCs, TLS, VDC and PDC facilities.
• This role would include but is not limited to investigating current customer issues that range from storm water design, permitting, parking, compliance issues, safety related codes or procedures, building expansion and new building design support
• Work with internal stakeholders to develop project criteria, scope, estimate and project schedules.
• Provide internal review of CS system drawings from outside engineering firms to support system implementation.
• Ensure compliance with related local, state, national codes, facility operations and Client standards.
• Shop drawing review, RFI processing and Kanban completion for ACS systems.
• Coordination of weekend and plant shutdown work with contractors, plant facilities groups, and manufacturing groups.
• Conduct work progress inspections on a continuous basis.
• Support construction administration activities related to schedule coordination, quality confirmations, weekly coordination meetings, and planned utility outages.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years in construction management. (Industrial/Commercial Building) MUST HAVE
• Experience in design criteria development for Civil Structural systems.
• Automotive experience with engine, transmission, or vehicle facilities or similar industrial manufacturer.
• 5+ years in Civil design field.
• Good organizational skills, communication skills, schedule management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project
