As a Floater / Substitute Teacher at The Goddard School, you join a group of other educators who are passionate about working with young children. This position allows you the opportunity to work with children from ages 0-5 and gain experience with multiple age groups. We provide all necessary training to help you be successful in your new role by maintaining all health & safety policies, all while having fun with children 
 

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive pay, $11-$13+/hr depending on qualifications
• Full-time shifts available or afternoon part-time shifts

Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Teacher in the following areas:

• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment.
• Advance children’s physical and intellectual competence through creative lesson planning.
• Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children and families.
• Maintain a professional commitment.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Some experience in an early childhood education center or similar program (preferred)
• Willingness to work any hours from 7:00am to 6:00pm (8 hour shift)
• Strong computer and technology skills. Previous experience with digital lesson planning tools and software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
