About the Role:

Aquila is seeking a HRIS Analyst to join our team in supporting one of the country's premier defense research organizations. Aquila is seeking an experienced Business / Data Analyst who will provide management support, stewardship, and leadership to recruit, retain, and develop a diverse workforce in order to support the organization mission.

There are a few requirements for the position:

  • Must be a U.S Citizen (Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)
  • Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila would sponsor you for the security clearance.)
  • Must be within commutable distance of Lexington, Massachusetts


Responsibilities:

Collects and interprets data from various data sources. Manages master data, including creation, updates, and deletion. Monitors data quality and removes corrupt data. Defines new data collection and analysis processes. Analyses results of data collection. Identifies patterns and trends in data sets. Develops various reports, graphs, charts, and presentations. Has ability to format reports, use formulas/functions, sort data, create macros, link files, etc. Reports results back to the relevant members of the business. Able to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms. Evaluates current business processes and proposes areas for improvement. Works alongside stakeholders and team members to establish business needs. Possesses strong communication and organization skills.

What You'll Bring:

  • 3-5 years' experience in business/data analytics required
  • Previous experience in HR
  • Experience working with applicant tracking systems, ERP systems and customer relationship management systems.
  • Project administration and coordination experience utilizing proven project and process management skills, tools, and framework
  • Strong analytical skills demonstrated by eliciting complete and accurate requirements
  • Strong results-orientation, teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills to navigate projects through a consensus-driven environment
  • Meeting management and facilitation skills, with the ability to follow through and drive progress through others
  • Strong PC skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Smartsheet, MS Teams)

  • 3 years Meeting Management Skills
  • 3 years Data Analysis
  • 3 years Applicant Tracking Systems
  • 3 years Human Resource/Talent Acquisition experience
  • 3 years Business analysis experience
  • 3 years Creating presentations for stakeholders, including content aggregation
  • 3 years Experience with process maps/workflows to improve efficiencies
  • 3 years Reviewing Specification Requirements
  • 3 years Understands and Executes Project Requirements
  • 3 years Excellent Problem Solving
  • 3 years MS Suite (Excel, ppt)
  • 3 years SAP/ERP
