Who We're Looking For:

EmpiRx Health is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced SVP of Finance. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in achieving the financial goals of both the enterprise and its clients, while effectively managing risk. The role oversees the accounting, treasury, financial planning, and financial risk management functions. Equally as important, the role is also responsible for developing and executing the finance & accounting function’s transformation plan and evaluating any M&A opportunities. Lastly, the role is responsible for developing communication and engagement strategies with key stakeholders as well as people strategies to cultivate culture and talent as the department evolves.

What You'll Do:

As the SVP of Finance, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities; here are a few:
  • Oversee the Accounting Team to ensure accuracy and compliance in recording financial results; ensure timely monthly close process. This also includes effective management of Billing, Payables, and Payroll functions.
  • Effectively oversee cash and manage cash projections, coordinate revolving loans as needed, and manage debt covenant obligations.
  • Lead the process of managing gross profit for the organization, identifying opportunities and mitigating risks associated with client performance.
  • Develop strategies, dashboards, metrics and communication mechanisms to enhance business/financial acumen and fiscal stewardship
  • Provide guidance to the FP&A Team on budgets, forecast, long-range plans, while communicating actual financial performance.

What You Need:
 
  • B. S. in in Finance, Management Information Systems, Systems Implementation and Change Management and / or Accounting
  • Minimum of of 10+ years in progressive Corporate Finance, investment banking, or operationally orientated finance capacity roles
  • 5+ years of leadership and management experience
  • PBM or Health Care experience, preferred
