Part Time Full Charge Bookkeeper

Position: Permanent, Part-Time Full Charge Bookkeeper, 100% On-site

Location: Onsite in the Marietta area

Compensation: $35 per hour ($55k per year with a 30 hour work schedule) with an excellent benefits package.

Great opportunity for someone who wants a part-time flexible work schedule but who also needs benefits Our client, a company that designs and integrates customized cylindrical, panoramic and spherical projected displays used for simulations and training by commercial and government customers is located in north Marietta and are looking for a Permanent Part-time Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join their team.

As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in the company. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you’ll perform all aspects of the accounting operations from start to finish. This role will be performed in 28-30 hours per week at our client’s north Marietta office. Their current bookkeeper is moving to a new opportunity after 12 successful years with this company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the daily operations for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Manage and monitor the AP/AR aging reports and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Collect and interpret financial data
  • Monitor cash flow
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries for accurate expanse allocations across multiple departments
  • Review financial statements for accurate reporting to CEO
  • Intercompany account management
  • Manage UK accounting office and assist UK accounting office with payroll, quarterly VAT returns and annual corporate tax returns
  • Use partial completion method of accounting for accurate revenue recognition
  • Utilize cost accounting to tract project profitability
  • Manage payroll submission as well as quarterly commission payments
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Reconcile general ledger and bank accounts on a monthly basis
  • Process annual 1099 statements
  • Manage expense reporting

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Full-Charge/Full-Cycle Bookkeeper
  • Strong Job Costing Experience
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with UK accounting a PLUS
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail
