Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a purchasing analyst intern who, under the supervision of Director of Purchasing, will perform a wide range of administrative and data analysis tasks related to the procurement of good and services.

Examples of Duties;

  • Perform data analysis, data processing as well as other clerical and routine duties
  • Perform market research, price analyses and related tasks
  • Solicit pricing, quotes and proposals and perform related analysis
  • Perform troubleshooting, research transactions and resolve both internal and external inquiries
  • Administrate various online procurement platforms
  • Maintains records and files, to include electronic databases
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Current college student or recent college graduate required. Supply chain, finance or business discipline preferred.
  • Zero to two (0-2) years of related experience
  • Excellent math and communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and ERP systems
  • Able to work well with staff and students in a cooperative and professional manner
