Your role at BHSN:
As a Mobile Crisis Clinician at BHSN, you will provide crisis intervention in the community and/or office setting as a member of the mobile crisis team including risk assessments, brief interventions, care management and individual/family psychotherapy to individuals potentially in crisis.

What your day might look like:
- Provide phone, walk in, and mobile crisis intervention services including comprehensive risk assessment, individual/family therapy to individuals in crisis to restore safety to the individual and the community
- Assess need for Mental Hygiene removal orders (MHL 9.45)
- Respond as a member of a mobile crisis team to individuals & families within the region, utilizing agency vehicles, co responding with first responders, or personal vehicles as needed
- Completing open access intakes, treatment planning, individual, family and group clinic-based services
- Thorough understanding of and compliance with OMH regulations regarding clinic treatment
- Additional duties as assigned
Your skills and qualifications:
- NYS LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, or LCSW-R licensure is required
- Ability to work with adults who have serious and persistent mental illness
- Ability to work afternoon and evening hours required
- Able to lift up to 50lbs and walk briskly up to 10 minutes
- Familiarity with databases and electronic health record systems preferred
- Valid NYS driver’s license with driving record acceptable to BHSN insurance carrier required
