Project Surveyor

Sandis is currently looking for a Project Surveyor to join our team in Campbell Office. As a Project Surveyor, you will be assisting project managers on diverse survey projects in the San Francisco Bay area. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we think you will love it here

What You’ll be doing:

• Preparing construction staking calculations by reading plans and interpreting CAD files.
• Creating mapping deliverables including boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, plats, and legal descriptions.
• Post-processing field data collected via the total station, GPS, levels, 3D laser scanners, and unmanned aerial systems.
• Building CAD Drawings of sites and structures for owners, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Mentor survey technicians

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of office surveying experience
• B.S in a related field is preferred.
• Knowledgeable of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Pix4d and Leica-based scanning software
• Experience with survey equipment, such as GPS, Robotic, and Total Station
• Pursuing FAA Pilot License
• LSIT Preferred
