Position Summary

You are …

Position handles partially and fully assembled Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and operates Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment for inspection of PCB assemblies and components. Analyze product quality and/or failures based on requirements and standards that apply, recommend corrective and preventive action.

Knowledge, Skill Sets, Education, Experience

What you’ll need:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Use of small hand tools and comparators; use of AOI equipment.
  • Perform physical requirements of the position, including use of hand tools, comparators, and x-ray equipment, work with chemicals, lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work scheduled hours and extra hours as required.
  • Operate a computer and intermediate software at a proficient level.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred:

3 years’ current/recent experience in non-destructive testing within a high-tech manufacturing environment

What you’ll do:

  • Inspect PCB Components according to the BOM, and assembly documentation.
  • Segregate and report the rejected PCBs properly identified that do not fulfill the established levels of acceptance
  • Report all part errors, discrepancies, and questions into the database.
  • Identify, label, and report all jobs with missing parts and other errors as an on “Hold” status as properly identified
  • Complete the documentation for all work done in the assigned section.
  • Identify causes of common process problems and provide alternative solutions for resolving them.
  • Work independently and consistently to meet productions goals.

Compensation: $20.00/ hour +Shift differential

Schedule:

Monday-Friday

6:00am-2:30pm and/or 2:30pm-7;30pm
