Come work for a company that has achieved national recognition for excellence in their field Chip Kronau Construction & Equipment, Inc. one of the Equipment World's 2021 Contractor of The Year Finalists, is looking to hire an experienced Heavy Equipment/Truck mechanic to join our team. We are a busy family-owned construction & excavation company with a solid reputation and long tenured crew. We operate locally within the Albany, NY area. We are looking for long-term full-time employees who want to grow with the company. Prior construction experience is preferred.

Basic Requirements:
  • At least 5 years experience as a heavy equipment mechanic
  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair heavy construction equipment/trucks in shop and in the field on a job site
  • Perform all aspects of maintenance and repairs on heavy trucks and earth moving equipment
  • Minimum CDL Class B license required
  • Ability to lift heavy objects on a regular basis (70 lbs. or more)
  • Willingness to drive tri-axle dump truck when needed
