POSITION SUMMARY: Provide administrative and strategic support to our company’s department Leadership, Team Members, and the Human Resources team in all areas of the employment cycle which may include projects involving recruiting, training and development, performance, benefits, engagement, employee relations, analytics, and Team Member relations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

· Ensures HRIS and other HR data systems are maintained with current, accurate data and used appropriately to fulfill department operating and reporting requirements.

· Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the HRIS, payroll output, employment records, labor statistics, competitors’ practices, and other appropriate sources.

· Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, turnover, motivation, key performance metrics, and compliance.

· Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to leadership.

· Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.

· Based on metrics and analysis, makes recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organizational culture including suggestions to attract and retain talent.

· Manages reconciliation of monthly insurance billings and tracks and monitors variances for corrections.

· Manages and/or assists with various audits and year-end benefits reporting.

· Answers employment related inquiries and concerns regarding policies and procedures and escalates concerns to HRD as needed.

· Assists with team member relations, conducts investigations and reviews of incidents, identifies and prepares written reports regarding findings, makes recommendations for remedial actions.

· Assists department leaders with inquiries, evaluations, coaching and counseling, and employment separations, as needed.

· Assists with conducting training and informational classes on a variety of employment-related topics.

· Assists with maintaining compliance with all governing regulatory agencies.

· Assists with other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education:

a. HS Diploma, Required

b. 4-year degree in Business, Human Resources, Org Mngt, required

2. Work Experience:

a. 4+ years’ experience in increasingly responsible HR administration &/or management, required.

b. 2+ years’ experience in hospitality (lodging, gaming), required.

c. 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory role, required.

3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

a. Required:

i. Solid skills with MS Office products, HRIS systems, database management, data analytics, and report writing.

ii. Strong understanding of employment-related laws, regulations, and standard HR operating practices.

iii. Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation).

iv. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

v. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize competing tasks, delegate when appropriate, and meet deadlines.

b. Preferred:

i. Bilingual in Spanish

ii. Good understanding of basic accounting &/or account reconciliation

4. Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements:

a. Certification through SHRM, HRCi, NNAHRA – preferred

5. Be at least 18 years of age.

6. Able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.

7. Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.

8. Able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner.

9. Available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary.
