DELVE DEEPER INTO THIS BUYING AND PURCHASING ROLE

As our full-time Buyer, you'll play a crucial role in our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and services necessary for our production processes. Each day, you'll solicit bids, analyze quotations, and select or recommend suppliers, often making decisions independently. You'll purchase complex or custom items at the most favorable prices, consistent with quality and specification requirements. Your duties will include preparing and reviewing purchase and work orders, expediting and coordinating deliveries, maintaining MRP system data, ensuring a continuous flow of raw materials or supplies, and processing NCRs for defective purchases. Your buying and purchasing expertise will help us maintain our reputation for excellence and innovation in our supply chain operations

Here's what we need from you:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field OR 8 years of equivalent training or experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a purchasing role
  • Experience negotiating contracts and pricing

Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and SAP proficiency would be preferred
