Sous Chef - Join Our Big-Hearted Team

Your Mission: In the absence of the chef to function in his/her behalf. To supervise all kitchen staff relating to the daily production of food products. To prepare and serve food products as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the Executive Chef in his/her absence.
  • Enforce campus policies.
  • Inventory and ordering of raw and prepared food items.
  • Assist with making the work schedule.
  • Ensure proper preparation and food quality.
  • Maintain and enforce safety and sanitation standards.
  • Assist in the training of all kitchen employees.
  • Assist in the food production as needed.
  • Any duties assigned by the Executive Chef.

  • Knives
  • Slicer
  • Choppers
  • Ovens
  • Mixers
  • Blenders

Your Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of proper knife handling techniques.
  • Previous management experience in a kitchen setting.
  • Previous experience with ordering raw and processed food products.
  • Knowledge of maintaining budgetary guidelines.
  • Must be able to obtain a Maricopa County Food Handlers card.
