THE LOCATION...

Approximately 1.5 hours away from Atlanta, we are gearing up for the highly anticipated Spring 2024 opening of Athens, Georgia’s first luxury, boutique hotel, Rivet House. With a close proximity to The University of Georgia, we are seeking dedicated and experienced team members to add to our growing team and ensure the success of this unique property. The hotel will have 50 luxurious guest rooms, an upscale Italian restaurant and bar called Osteria Olio, a coffee bar and retail shop, and a 2800 square foot health and beauty spa.


THE ROLE...

A successful Executive Chef and will have 5+ years experience managing Italian Scratch Kitchens (200 - 300 covers) in an upscale and food focused environment. You are passionate about rolling up fresh pasta, stirring up sauces and serving fresh pizza's while engaging the local community to procure the highest quality product to create unforgettable experiences (for team-members & guests).


You'll be a Culinary Visionary, someone who understands that the kitchen is not just a place to cook; it's a stage for creating gastronomic masterpieces. If you're ready to lead our culinary team and bring a new dimension to Athen's dining scene, this is your call to the kitchen.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead with Passion: Bring your unwavering passion for luxury boutique hotels, food and hospitality to the forefront. Be a part of the volunteer and charity initiatives we support and contribute to the betterment of the community we serve.
  • Nurture Your Team: Foster staff development and create a positive atmosphere that not only motivates our team but also ensures we meet our P&L goals.
  • Enrich Your Community: Engage with local vendors, business and farms to source quality products while also educating junior team members and advocating for their growth and development. Additionally, actively participate in and support our community's volunteer efforts and charitable initiatives to make a positive impact.
  • Be the Solution: Oversee all facets of the hotel and restaurant, resolving any challenges that arise by maintaining effective communication with team-members and the community.
Requirements:

Flexibility: Your schedule may vary (days, nights, weekends, holidays) based on seasonality, covers, and hours of operation. In general, you can anticipate working 50 to 60 hours a week.
