Key Details:

  • Pay Range: Dental Assistant I (entry-level): $19.60 - $24.00/hour.
  • There is also growth opportunity over time to move to a Dental Assistant II then Dental Assistant III level.
  • Bilingual Pay Policy: We also have a Bilingual Pay Policy If you pass the language proficiency test, you are eligible to receive a $1.25 per hour increase.
  • Schedule: Full-time; Monday – Friday; variable shifts between 7:30 am – 6:30 pm.
  • Location: 18633 SE Stark St., Suite 401 – Portland, OR 97233.

Who You Are: Our Dental Assistant's are compassionate and caring. With exceptional organizational skills, you ensure the smooth flow of our clinic. Your excellent communication skills create a comforting environment for patients, helping ease any anxiety they may be feeling. Your commitment to patient education enhances our mission to improve oral health in the community. Qualifications for this role are:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified DA (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
  • CPR/BLS certified.
  • Cleanliness champion – your sterilization skills are top-notch.
  • Superb computer skills – you're the tech-savvy dental dynamo.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience working in a dental clinic.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, CDC, and ADA standards.
  • Bilingual.

Responsibilities: Our dental assistants are integral to the Wallace dental team. They support our dentists, hygienists, and dental students in providing patients with high-quality oral healthcare and education. They also assist where needed to ensure the smooth, efficient running of the dental program and participate in ongoing evaluation of operations to assure delivery of outstanding patient care and clinic financial sustainability.
