**Position Overview:

** We seek a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team Howmet. As an electrician you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and systems. This off-shift electrician position will encompass various responsibilities which include, but not limited to: Troubleshooting, maintenance, instrumentation and repair of electrical and electronic equipment used in our production processes. We are looking for a self-motivated and technically proficient individual committed to providing high-quality work and promoting a positive image of our company.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrician: Troubleshooting, maintenance, instrumentation and repair of electrical and electronic equipment used in our production processes

• Must be a team player with willingness to learn and perform in other areas as assigned by management.

• Working with aluminum, steel materials, general tool room equipment and CNC Mills.

• Troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Must be a team player with willingness to learn and perform in other areas as assigned by management.

• Operate equipment efficiently and safely.

• Keep a clean and organized work area.

• Adhere to safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

**

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

• Journeyman (U.A.W. card required) or have a minimum of eight (8) years of documented experience or have served a Bonafide apprenticeship and possess a certificate which substantiates completion.

• ​Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• State license preferred but not required for consideration.
