Psychiatric Rehabilitation Service Aide (PRSA) Duties:

  • As a psychiatric rehabilitation service aide you will be responsible for resident psychosocial rehabilitation.
  • You will participate in new residents’ orientation to the facility, sharing significant information with the supervisor.
  • You will participate in the inspection and review of residents and their rooms.
  • You will foster personal growth and resolve resident concerns.
Requirements:

Psychiatric Rehabilitation Service Aide (PRSA) Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • No history of abuse/neglect, or misappropriation of property.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity, ability and skills in working with and understanding the needs of the residents, family members, staff members and personnel from community agencies.
  • Demonstrated familiarity and knowledge of currents trends in the rehabilitation of the mentally ill.
