Retail/Merch Supervisor Job
Location: Wyoming, Minnesota
Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Employment Length: Approximately 2 months
Typical Schedule:
- Start time: 5:30-6:30 pm
- Weekends, Nights
- Weekly hours: 10-40 hours (subject to variation)

Job Summary:
The Dead End Hayride is seeking a motivated Retail/Merch Supervisor to join our dynamic team. We are committed to providing a safe, fun, and entertaining Fall Event for our employees and attendees. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well in fast-paced environments, and has a solid background in customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Hire, train, and schedule Apparel Sales personnel.
- Supervise daily operations of the retail space, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
- Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and engage them with product knowledge and recommendations.
- Promote upselling and suggest additional items to enhance the shopping experience.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Merchandising & Inventory:
- Restock merchandise at the beginning and end of each shift, and as needed.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring all items are properly displayed and stored.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
- Sales & Operations:
- Operate Square POS systems efficiently and accurately handle cash transactions.
- Assist in setting sales goals and strategies to meet targets.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work nights and weekends.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a welcoming, positive attitude.
- Previous experience in merchandising or sales is a PLUS.
- Comfortable using POS systems and handling cash transactions.
