Lobby Attendant

MUST be able to work any day of the week (including weekends + holidays) and have availability to work BOTH shift times of 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm.

Position ensures the cleanliness and maintenance of all interior public areas of the hotel as well as assisting in other areas as needed or as assigned. Responsible for the hotel’s cleanliness in order to provide our guests with a favorable impression of the Jefferson Hotel. Checks all public restrooms, ensures they are clean at all times. Cleans the guest elevators, including the mirrors, glass, brass and chrome, tracks, etc. Spot cleans the carpets and shampoos as needed. Wipes down all wood surfaces once daily. Maintains the lobby, arranges the furniture, and wipe/spot clean as needed. This is to include the mirrors, glass, tile, floor, walls, doors, urinals, sinks, sink pipes, counters, light coverings and any other cleaning as necessary. Polishes the brass and chrome as needed throughout the shift. All lamps and light fixtures are to be dusted daily and cleaned with a dampened towel at least once a week. Constantly monitors all public areas throughout the shift. Empties trash, cleans windows, vacuums, spots carpet, cleans glass, mirrors, walls, doors, woodwork, counter tops, public phone areas as needed. Will abide by and comply with all Jefferson Hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
