SINC Thermal is looking for experienced welders and fabricators to join our Team. The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of on-

the-job experience welding structural steel and process piping. Additional responsibilities include contributing to the construction of the company's

*This is a full time position located in O'Fallon, Missouri*

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate weldments according to blueprints
  • Pipefitting of air and natural gas lines
  • Installation of high temperature refractories and insulation
  • Maintain a clean and orderly working environment
  • Mechanical assembly of custom equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in welding in and out of position in all orientations (wire feed and stick required, TIG preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic mechanical assembly
  • Maintain exceptional accuracy and thoroughness
  • Effective communication skills with customers, co-workers and management both in person and via telephone phone.
  • Proficient in executing fundamental shop tasks including the operating a plasma cutter, press-brake, bandsaw, ironworker, oxy-acetylene torch and basic hand tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Ability to cut and thread black iron pipe and bend metal tubing
  • Ability to recognize limitations and ask questions when needed
  • Ability to work as a team as well as independently with little or no supervision
  • Ability to learn new tasks
  • Ability to finish tasks in a timely manner, recognize opportunities for improvement and offer suggestions
  • Ability to communicate well with customers, co-workers and management in person and over the phone
  • Ability to handle stressful situations, extreme temperatures, loud environments and working on your feet for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to perform in a safe manner while in potentially dangerous surroundings
  • Knowledge of general industrial safety protocols and procedures
  • Reliable mode of transportation and ability to pass a drug screen

Education & Experience

  • 5+ Years of welding experience
  • High school education or equivalent

Travel: Less than 10% of overnight travel may be required.
