THE GROWTH YOU PROVIDE AS A GENERAL MANAGER

You are expected to work 45 to 50 hours per week, with availability to accommodate peak business hours and other needs.

In the hospitality industry, flexibility is key. While we may not always need every team member to work every weekend or both weekend days, having an open availability on weekends greatly enhances our ability to ensure excellent service and maintain operational efficiency. Joining our team with this flexibility not only demonstrates your commitment to the role but also enables us to create a more adaptable and effective workforce.

As the General Manager, you're not just a leader; you're the heartbeat of our establishment. Your role is multifaceted, encompassing everything from ensuring each guest feels warmly welcomed to maintaining the highest standards of service and product quality. With a keen focus on fostering a positive work environment, you lead by example, providing guidance, training, and support to our staff at every turn. Your assertive leadership ensures that all guidelines are adhered to, guaranteeing consistency and excellence in every aspect of operations.

From meticulously managing inventory and scheduling to cultivating vendor relationships and monitoring financial performance, you're the strategic mind behind our success. With your dedication to staff development, unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction, and a keen eye for financial targets, you steer our café toward continued growth

OUR IDEAL GENERAL MANAGER

We're looking for a detail-oriented leader who can meet the following qualifications:

  • 4+ years of operations and leadership experience in a fast-paced, casual dining environment
  • Track record of being a proactive, involved leader with measurable results
  • Previous restaurant cooking experience in a casual or fine dining establishment; expertise in proper food handling techniques and procedures
  • Availability to work any schedule; ability to work 45-50 hours per week
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Customer-service focus, a sense of urgency, and the ability to be proactive

From our humble beginnings as a coffee truck on the streets of San Diego in 2013, Perky Beans Coffee & PB Café has grown up and laid down roots as a coffee shop, restaurant, and bar in Leander, Texas.
