In this role, you will play a critical role in the discovery process by efficiently and accurately reviewing and analyzing large volumes of documents for potential evidence relevant to our clients' cases.
You will work closely with attorneys and other paralegals to identify and organize key documents, prepare case summaries, and contribute to the development of litigation strategies.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough and efficient review of various types of documents, including medical records, financial records, corporate communications, and technical reports.
  • Identify and extract relevant information from documents, including key dates, names, events, and potential evidence.
  • Utilize coding software and database tools to categorize and organize documents for easy retrieval and analysis.
  • Prepare concise and accurate summaries of reviewed documents, highlighting key findings and potential issues.
  • Assist attorneys with drafting interrogatories, requests for production of documents, and other discovery materials.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant legal developments and procedures in mass tort litigation.
  • Maintain excellent organization and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effectively communicate with attorneys, paralegals, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and collaboration.

Qualifications:
  • Must have a 4 year degree and a paralegal certificate
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in document review, preferably in a mass tort or complex litigation setting.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, written, and verbal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with legal research and databases a plus.
