Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary:

Arctic Compressor is seeking a full-time Compressor Assembly Technician 1.  Applicant must possess a strong mechanical aptitude. Applicant must be capable of working independently with minimal direction.


Job Purpose:   Employee will be responsible for assembly and testing of high pressure air compressors and related sub-assemblies.


Job duties:

  • Work together with other production staff to efficiently and accurately assemble components
  • Testing and troubleshooting of final assemblies to assure proper operation for customers
  • Resolve assembly problems by working with supervisor to change part specifications or assembly procedures
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Skills / Qualifications: 

  • Ability to quickly learn industry / company specific terminology
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • People skills
  • No experience required, however, machine assembly and repair experience is preferred

Compensation & benefits: 

This position’s benefits and hourly compensation range ($15.00 - $19.00) is based on experience and is also eligible for profit sharing. Other benefits include:
