We are looking to hire an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our accounting team to both calculate wages and process payments for our foreign contractors. This consists of processing about 300 monthly payments. The goal is to ensure personnel receive the correct compensation promptly. Requirements/Skills:

  • Manage the entire payroll process from start to finish each month
  • Processing payroll for contractors in the organization
  • Maintain personnel database regarding salaries
  • Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
  • Work directly with staff members fielding questions and concerns
  • Prepare reports about payroll and expenses
  • Ability to be trusted with sensitive information


Qualifications for Payroll Specialist

  • 3-5 years of experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment required
  • Strong knowledge of both quickbooks (coding and journaling) and excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
  • Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Physically able to work seated in front of a computer for long hours at a time


Conditions:

  • Mostly Remote 
  • 20 hours per week with flexibility of when you put in the hours
