The Opportunity


We are looking for a Brand Ambassador to help raise awareness of our products and brand, be a source of inspiration and guidance to our ever-growing community of users, and to tell the stories of companies that are accomplishing extraordinary things with our software. As a Brand Ambassador, you will be the “face” of Microvellum and a key part of Microvellum’s marketing team.


About the Position


We have a powerful platform backed by an incredible team and adopted by thousands of amazing users (clients). As a brand ambassador, you will help build the Microvellum brand by telling the world about what we do.


What it will take:


  • Demonstrate sophisticated knowledge of Microvellum’s products.
  • Be an active learner, honing your expertise in all aspects of Microvellum’s platform, including software features and library data.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of wood product manufacturing processes, keeping up with the latest trends and integrated partner products.
  • Work to build rapport with users (clients) and partners, building trust in you and our brand.
  • Engage directly with users (clients), collaborating to tell their success stories in creative ways.
  • Be capable of creating creative storyboards, editing, and producing quality recorded content.
  • Be an excellent communicator and natural networker, connecting with industry professionals, prospects, clients, and teammates to advance the Microvellum brand.


It takes time to master Microvellum. As a brand ambassador, you will also be a source of encouragement, insight, and inspiration.


What it will take:


  • Be a thought leader, demonstrating that you have the expertise and passion for the woodworking industry and for Microvellum’s brand.
  • Be on the lookout for opportunities within the Microvellum Community where you can make a positive impact by answering questions or providing advice to users (clients).
  • Work to inspire brand advocates - raving fans that take it upon themselves to share their experiences.
  • Actively participate in product marketing events and activities that provide opportunities for you to let your expertise shine.


Ideal Candidate


  • An experienced Microvellum operator with 5+ years of experience with an in-depth understanding of the design, drafting, estimating, custom product engineering and manufacturing features of Toolbox and AutoCAD.
  • Has a passion for the wood industry and wants to be a teacher, a guide to help others grow in their understanding of our industry and our products.
  • Has a firm understanding of wood product manufacturing processes. (i.e., shop drawings, cut listing, production management, CNC machinery, product assembly, finishing, etc.)
  • Excellent and effective communications skills exhibiting creativity and proficiency in a variety of media formats including writing, product demonstrations, and video creation.
  • Maintains excellent time management, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Able to utilize audio/visual equipment and software including microphones, camera equipment, drones, video and image editing software (i.e., Adobe Premier, Adobe Photo Shop) and other recording devices to create compelling videos featuring yourself, our team and our clients.
  • Able to travel from time to time to trade shows, partner events, and film client success videos (stories) within the US and potentially other countries including Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
