This full-time, long-term position with opportunity for advancement, benefits and a flexible schedule is a vital team role interfacing with our vendors.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze drawings and specifications.
  • Understand contractual terms and conditions.
  • Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates and proposals in a timely manner.
  • Design-Build and Construction formatted projects.
  • Help keep building projects within the client’s budget limitations.
  • Provide clear detailed quantity take offs.
  • Organize sub-contractors’ quotations, negotiate to ensure quotes meet contract documents and issue proper documented change orders.
  • Complete Scheduling for projects. Monitor change orders and identify any potential risks.
  • Maintain relationships with sub-contractors and clients. - Ensure site personnel are provided with proper documentation related to project.
  • Work with and deal with concerns of field personnel. - Provide and maintain unit pricing and database for material and labor costing.
  • Develop complete budgets and plans for projects.
  • Formulate cost break down from estimates and for project progress.
  • Re-Figure cost estimates in a timely manner when necessary.
  • Communicate with potential sub-contractors to discuss options for proposed services. Qualifications and Experience.
  • Offer advice to sub-contractors as to whether or not it is cost effective to try different materials or products.
  • Previous experience estimating projects in Commercial Field.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

Qualifications (Knowledge & Skills):

  • High school diploma, additional education a plus
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and QuickBooks.
  • Basic bookkeeping and database experience
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Customer service/positive attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong research skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, high tech, paperless environment
  • Highly motivated

Compensation will be based on experience.
