About the Role
Job Type: Full-Time
Minimum Years of Education Required: Bachelor’s degree preferred and 3-5 years management experience in a wholesale or retail environment
What You Will Do:
A successful Branch Manager exercises complete responsibility for developing and managing a business operation that increases sales, profitability and customer and employee satisfaction by directing, coordinating and monitoring all sales, branch operations and personnel development activities as well as the following:
- Purchasing of product through the use of PO requirements & generation;
- Ensures that all company assets are protected from theft or damage;
- Ensures all essential retail tasks including merchandizing, store and warehouse organization and financial processes are followed;
- Monitors KPI metrics and manages a P&L statement;
- Manage and maintain overall inventory volume;
- Handles all personnel issues in the branch;
- Handles daily cash deposits and petty cash;
- Monitors vehicle maintenance and fuel log/cards;
- Monitors branch expenses, electricity, gas, water, trash, etc.;
- Maintains inventory accuracy through the use of daily cycle counts;
- Maintains the highest level of customer service in the industry;
- Outside sales support;
- All other duties as assigned;
All candidates must possess the following skills/abilities
- Driving record clear of any major or repeated infractions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to load/unload truck at time of delivery
- Ability to sit for 20+ minutes at a time
- Ability to push, pull at least 20+ pounds
- Ability to climb up and down ladders
