Role:

As the Medical Scribe for the Neuropathy Treatment Clinic of Oklahoma, you will play a vital role in the patient experience. The Medical Scribe works closely with our medical provider to achieve the best practice, medical documentation, and patient care. 


Responsibilities:

  • Meets the patient's goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results.
  • Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks


Job Duties:

  • Obtaining vitals
  • Rooming patients
  • Medical terminology
  • Scribing for providers
    • Chief Complaint, Vitals, Medical history, Neuropathy testing 
  • Draw labs
  • EMR System Knowledge
  • Patient balance assessments
  • Calling in for Medication refills
  • Faxing for patient pharmacy needs
  • Obtaining and scanning lab results

  • Monday – Thursday 7:00 am - 4:30 pm

Experience: 

  • Family practice or pain clinic experience - minimum of 1 year
