Job Overview: Primary responsibility is to manage the efficient and effective flow of products, materials, and equipment in reverse, from the customer back to the point of Hisense DC. This position will play a crucial role in optimizing the import logistics process, ensuring on-time fulfillment, cost-effective, repairs, refurbishments, and recycling. This position expertise will contribute to reducing waste, maximizing asset recovery, and improving customer satisfaction through streamlined reverse logistics operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the inbound logistics department, including goods receipt, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Ensure the efficient and timely unloading, checking, and storing of merchandise.
  • Repair and Refurbishment: Leading and managing the repair and refurbishment processes for returned items. Collaborate with internal repair teams or external vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs. Monitor repair activities, quality standards, and turnaround times.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Leading and verify daily inventory and transaction accuracy. Collaborate with internal team to fix any discrepancy transactions and eliminate customer compliances.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Manage and coordinate the entire supply chain, from product procurement to the distribution of finished goods.
  • Oversee and negotiate contracts with suppliers, transporters, and other logistical service providers.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Experience working with international suppliers and carriers
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other logistics software
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Must speak, read, and write both English & Chinese (Mandarin)

 

Working Conditions: Inbound Manager will work in an office environment but may also need to visit transportation providers and warehouses. This role may require occasional travel.
