Graves Foods CDL Driver Job Opening

Company Overview: Graves Foods, a 75-year-old wholesale foodservice distributor, serves nursing homes, schools, restaurants, and other foodservice providers throughout the Midwest. We pride ourselves on delivering quality products and providing exceptional customer service.

Position: CDL Driver

Job Duties:

  • Daily Schedule: Start between 4:00-5:00 AM and finish around 2:30-4:00 PM. Meet at Chillicothe, MO to organize paperwork.
  • Pre-Trip Inspections: Record inspections before departing the warehouse facility.
  • Transport: Operate a company vehicle to deliver products to multiple Midwest locations.
  • Unload Products: Physically unload products at customer locations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain DOT and company-required records throughout the day.
  • Post-Trip Inspections: Complete inspections, turn in paperwork, clean the truck, refuel, and top off necessary fluids.

Prerequisites:

  • Licenses: Valid Class A CDL and current CDL physical.
  • Compliance: Adhere to DOT regulations to maintain an excellent DOT rating and ensure road safety.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience.

Compensation:

  • Pay Rate: $25.00-$28.00 per hour for Class A drivers.
