TalentAmp is hiring a Superintendent Mine Maintenance for one of our direct clients in Bagdad, AZ.

Type of Employment: Direct Hire

We are looking for a Superintendent Mine Maintenance in Autonomous Haulage that will manage assigned operations with minimal supervision, encompassing tasks such as daily production, product quality, environmental management, safety, and maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct daily operations, supervising staff to ensure quality work and adherence to policies.
  • Provide administrative and technical guidance, interpreting regulatory policies.
  • Participate in staff selection, corrective action, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Forecast and manage budgets, including staffing, materials, supplies, and capital projects.
  • Develop and coordinate project work plans, including project management and cost estimates.
  • Provide information to site officials, departments, and the public.
  • Review and recommend improvements in Capital Improvement Plans.
  • Evaluate infrastructure and facilities for maintenance and repairs.
  • Coordinate activities of consultants and contractors.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Required Skills

  • High School diploma or GED with seven years of operational experience, including supervision, or a Bachelor's degree with three years of related experience, including supervision.
  • Possible requirement for additional certifications or licensure depending on the department/site.
  • Proficiency in supervising, evaluating, training, and motivating employees.
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, direct, and manage various operational areas, projects, and activities.
  • Competence in preparing, defending, monitoring, and administering budgets.
  • Awareness of occupational hazards, safety precautions, and ability to recognize hazards.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Preferred: One year of autonomous maintenance experience.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of autonomous systems technology.
  • Preferred: Experience with Caterpillar/Mining equipment.
