Job Purpose:

The Direct Ship Hub Dispatcher is responsible for expediting shipments of orders to ensure that cutoff times are met.

Key Job Responsibilities:

· Manage the picking of customer ordered parts to ensure orders are prepped and ready for delivery at the expected time of departure. (45 minute delivery time).

· Ensure invoices are properly matched to the appropriate order.

· Coordinate delivery driver routes and monitor arrival and departure times.

· Schedule contract drivers based on company business needs and log hours after end of day.

· Monitor invoice queue to ensure all orders have been picked on time (10 min pick time) to allow us to meet. departure cutoff times and communicate any areas of concern with the picking Team Lead and or Manager.

Requirements:

· High School diploma or GED.

· Able to consistently arrive to work, meetings, and appointments on time.

· Able to adapt to expected and unexpected changes in the work environment.

· Able to speak clearly and persuasively, listen carefully and respond accordingly, participate in meetings, and read and interpret information.

· Must be capable of meeting productivity requirements for tasks assigned.

· Treat people with respect, cooperate, keep commitments, maintain emotional self-control, work with integrity, and uphold organizational values.

· Follow instructions, respond to management directions, take ownership for personal actions, uphold commitments and complete tasks on time. Constantly try to increase productivity and response time.

· Observe safety and security procedures, determine appropriate action beyond guidelines, and report potentially unsafe conditions and use equipment and materials in a safe and proper manner.

· Must be capable of performing task utilizing Radio Frequency scanners. Must be capable of utilizing WMS and Final Mile Software.

Environmental/Occupational Health and Physical Requirements: Typical 9-hour day to include reaching, standing, walking, kneeling, lifting and carrying while working around powered equipment and/or conveyor systems. To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. The heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required. Employee also share the responsibility to perform routine housekeeping activities such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning and changing trash can liner.
