WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

You'll typically work Monday through Thursday between 8:15 AM and 6:15 PM, and Fridays between 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM, and possibly 1-2 evenings per month for community events.

As a Patient Financial and Treatment Coordinator at Carolina TotalCare, your role is a dynamic blend of responsibilities spanning administration, finance, clinical care, and community engagement. You will guide prospective patients through the financial and sales process for their health and healing needs. You excel in maintaining meticulous records and data, using your attention to detail and love for systems to ensure accurate patient information and track performance metrics. Proficient with Microsoft tools like Excel, Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint, you expertly manage patient paperwork while seamlessly discussing payment options and collaborating with external financing companies to present patients with professional financial choices. You prepare treatment contracts and set up financial arrangements with patients. With confidence, you bring your scheduling, treatment planning, and patient financial skills to the office.

Your compassionate nature shines in patient care, where you welcome and guide patients, assist with clinical inquiries, and support doctors during exams and screenings, requiring no prior experience, as comprehensive training is provided. Beyond the clinic, you're a confident community ambassador, securing venues and orchestrating engaging health talks and seminars. While not the main speaker, you will assist in planning (as well as introducing and concluding) compelling presentations that bolster community awareness and invite potential patients into the practice. Because of you, each patient's journey is marked by professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to their well-being and the community's health.


DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Administrative experience with spreadsheets, organizing data, and keeping track of progress using KPIs
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Publisher, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Genuine interest in sales processes, patient financial guidance, and treatment plan adherence
  • Confidence planning, executing, and conducting community healthcare seminars and informational presentations 2-4 times a month
  • Passionate about helping those who are struggling with health conditions
  • Experience in sales: medical sales, door-to-door, direct sales, med spa sales, out-of-pocket/cash-based sales, real estate, car sales, commission/bonus-based sales, AND a history of succeeding, enjoying, and thriving in this environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Healthcare experience (including health documentation, vital sign assessment, and documentation practices) is a plus but not required. All clinical training is provided.
