HVAC Special Project Sales Estimator

Specific Duties:
- Source new customer leads.
- Conform to sales/estimating guidelines.
- Attend networking events.
- Perform job bid walks.
- Have ability to accurately quote material and labor on jobs to achieve minimum 30% GM.
- Get accurate material list needed for job completion to obtain bid.
- Have familiarity with regional supply houses and what they stock.
- Be open-minded to other ideas/work types.

- Set realistic expectations for your clients in regard to scheduling.
- Maintain good communication with clients and service department and/or projects department.
- Develop and maintain relations with customers and potential clients.
- Assist customers by providing solutions to their issues when others can’t or won’t.
- Maintain good records of jobs bid and save digitally to Shared Drive.
- To include budget sheets, job description, and all subcontractor and vendor quotes
- Conduct project handovers when job is sold with Project Manager or Service manager.
- Onsite and in office so the work description is clear and understood.
- Assist in gathering information as needed for the billing process (i.e. customer points of contact)
- Contact and receive quotes from Subcontractors, as needed.
