Job Summary:

As the Complex General Manager at By the Sea Resorts in Panama City Beach, Florida, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our hospitality and restaurant facilities. This is a full-time, salaried management position with a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 per year, paid weekly. You will oversee all aspects of Barefoot Hideaway Grill and Barefoot on the Beach, including guest services, food and beverage operations, housekeeping, maintenance, and financial management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry and proven leadership skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Annual salary range of $70,000 to $80,000, paid weekly

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of our two Barefoot restaurants, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and high-quality service
• Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
• Create and maintain budgets and financial reports
• Hire, train, and manage staff, including conducting regular performance evaluations
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations
• Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other business partners
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for all departments
• Monitor and analyze guest feedback and make necessary improvements
• Handle guest complaints and issues with a sense of urgency and professionalism
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the resort and attract new guests
• Oversee regular maintenance and upkeep of the property to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
• Stay updated on industry trends and make necessary changes to keep the resort competitive

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in a management position in the hospitality industry
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Proven track record of increasing revenue and maintaining profitability
• Knowledge of financial management and budgeting
• Familiarity with property management systems and software
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed
