About the Role:
The role of the Dispatcher entails the responsibility of managing installation scheduling in our software ticket
system. Additionally, they oversee incoming calls and ensure they are directed to the appropriate technician.
Dispatchers are also accountable for rerouting and rescheduling calls and installations as circumstances evolve.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate installation scheduling using our software ticket system.
- Aid in the management of our installation crew, typically consisting of four or five service technicians and installation crews.
- Oversee call takers and ensure the appropriate Technician is assigned to each call.
- Adjust and reschedule calls as circumstances change.
- Process and submit locate requests to Indiana 811.
- Facilitate locate requests through the 811 process.
- Record notifications from customers regarding private utilities in Sonar.
- Schedule and assign jobs to technicians.
- Coordinate outages for technicians.
- Conduct QC audits for scheduling groups.
- Follow up with customers in the holding group.
- Manage inventory levels at the office.
- Submit internal and external inventory requests.
- Perform additional assigned tasks.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned
Key Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, or G.E.D, required
- 1-2 years’ experience as a dispatch scheduler
- Experience working with multi-screen display
- Knowledge of basic computer/keyboard functions
- Knowledge of various trade areas and functions to appropriately dispatch work orders
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in standard Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.
