Full Job Description

On-site Security is seeking to employ a Security Guard position at The Mint Dispensary.

On-site Security is a professional management services provider currently hiring unique talent for a Massachusetts-licensed nonprofit dispensary specializing in serving the Medical Cannabis community. Superior caliber patient service is a priority of Brightroot's standard, and providing patients with safe access to clean, high-quality products is a top company concern. The work environment is fast-paced and non-traditional.

Ideal candidates will possess a strong work ethic, value teamwork, have professional integrity, a strong sense of personal accountability, and be career-oriented.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol Duties:
    • Regular patrols of the premises are conducted to deter and detect signs of criminal activity or breaches in security.
  • Access Control:
    • Provides and implements security and security protocols for all assigned facilities and information systems.
  • Incident Response:
    • Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, and provide first aid if necessary.
  • Customer Service:
    •  Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients and employees, addressing their concerns, and providing directions as needed.
  • Enforcement:
    •  Enforce company policies, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment.
 

Qualifications: 
  • Required:
    • Applicant must be twenty-one (21) years of age
    • Must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company
    • Valid Identification
  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in security 
  • Physical Requirments:
    • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
    • Ability to travel between store locations
