How you will make an impact: 

Join our team as a Security Officer and play a crucial role in the safety of our community. As a Security Officer, you will respond immediately to all 911 calls and direct emergency personnel while maintaining crowd control. You will maintain effective logs and reports to detail events at Luther Oaks and conduct investigations into incidents such as criminal activity, theft, or threatening behaviors on campus. You will promote positive interpersonal relationships with your team members, Luther Oaks residents, and their visitors through your professional image and welcoming attitude. 

Schedule varies: This is a full-time overnight position from 8 pm-8 am, working the following rotation: Week 1: M,T,F,S Week 2: S,W,T 8 pm-8 am. 

What you will need: 

  • Prior security experience preferred
  • Must be able to speak, read, comprehend and write legibly in English
  • Must be able to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and operating manuals
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Successful completion of the 20-hour Security Training Program conducted by a local Community College preferred
