Job Summary:

As a Project Coordinator, you will support a project and its elements from initiation to completion. Helping to ensure that each project is completed on time and at or under budget. The successful candidate for this position will be able to utilize project data to make future projects more productive and cost-efficient.

This role is located in our Manassas, VA office.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for organizing activities, schedules and reporting in support of telecommunication projects.
  • Maintenance of project filing, and preparation of closeout documentation is required.
  • Manage documentation, including project plans, reports, and permits, to ensure accurate and up-to-date record-keeping.
  • Managing and maintaining purchase orders.
  • Contributing and maintaining a detailed project schedule.
  • Reporting of all project documents and data to the designated project management information systems.
  • Oversee procurement processes by creating PO’s to the distribution vendors and subs when needed. Constantly tracks materials with the vendors to update Project Manager’s on ETA of goods. Validates that the materials have been received and receiving materials in NetSuite.
  • Track project budgets, expenditures, and resource allocations to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Input the PO information as well as updating any budget information. Works with the PM’s to coordinate manpower and update NetSuite to include assigned techs in the resource section.
  • Financial reporting and project tracking as required.
  • Track and maintain site access requirements.
  • Call in and maintain all 811 tickets.
  • Update reports and project management systems, as required.
  • Providing general office support as required.
  • All other tasks as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of material orders and tracking.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as well as having a strong work ethic.
  • Analytical skills be detailed oriented and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple complex tasks.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, especially MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. NetSuite experience a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Update reports and project management systems, as required.
  • Providing general office support as required.

Experience and Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Industry experience greatly preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in IT, finance, or logistics would carry over


Competencies/ Skills:

  • Basic ability to read and interpret blue-prints, drawings and diagrams, and all other provided materials.
  • Extrapolate requirements to create take off materials including quotes, scope of work (SOW), method of procedure, etc.
  • Knowledge of material orders and tracking.
  • Basic ability to estimate labor effort and material requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, focused on customer service.
  • Proficiency with the MS office suite, Bluebeam Revu, or Revit is a plus.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license.
