Afternoon childcare assistant teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable person who would like to teach and care for young children
Shifts available
2:30 - 3:30 pm - 6:00 pm Monday through Friday
No Weekends
Pay: Starting at $13 an hour, depending on experience
TEACHING
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum.
- General everyday cleanup after activities and snack and complete cleanup check list at the end of the night.
- Treat children with compassion, dignity and respect.
- Communicate in a professional manner with parent, staff and management.
- Establish a positive image as a role model for our children and families.
- Responsible for a nightly chore around the center and help on assigned laundry day.
- Dress in a professional service manner.
- Follows all Little Endeavors policies.
- Respect the policy of the children and family's confidentiality.
CO-WORKERS

- Maintain communication with morning staff.
- Maintain communication with the director.

ADMINISTRATION
- Reliable in attendance

- Careful and conscientious in performance of duties; including the use of positive words and actions towards children, parents, and staff
- Be nurturing to all children throughout the center.
- Be courteous and helpful when dealing with children and their parents
- Responsible in job duties
- Flexible with assignments
- Remains calm in tense situations
- Maintains a positive attitude
- Follows policies and procedures
**Completes all DHS requirements on trainings, background checks and physical in a timely manner after being hired or annually.
