Responsibilities

1. Serve as the subject matter expert for SolarWinds observability solutions, providing guidance and expertise to internal teams and clients.
2. Good hands-on experience in remediating Vulnerabilities in SolarWinds platform.
3. Good knowledge and implementation skills in SolarWinds product upgrade.
4. Deploy, configure, and maintain SolarWinds observability solutions such as App Optics, Loggly, and Pingdom.
5. Monitor and analyze application and infrastructure performance metrics, logs, and synthetic transactions to identify trends and potential issues.
6. Design and implement custom dashboards, alerts, and reports within SolarWinds observability platforms to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
7. Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance improvements.
8. Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in observability and performance monitoring.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a SolarWinds observability specialist or similar role, with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience.
2. In-depth knowledge of SolarWinds observability products such as App Optics, Loggly, and Pingdom.
3. Strong understanding of application performance monitoring (APM), log management, and synthetic monitoring concepts.
4. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell for automation tasks and data analysis.
5. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
6. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues.
7. Relevant certifications such as SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) or equivalent are a plus.
