Shop Foreman

Job Summary:
Keffer Hyundai is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Foreman to join our team in Matthews, North Carolina. As a Shop Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the service department, ensuring that all repairs and maintenance are performed efficiently and accurately. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the Auto industry, and the successful candidate will be compensated with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations and workflow within the service department
- Assign and delegate tasks to technicians and ensure they are completed within a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure repairs are performed to the highest standards
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment for all employees
- Train and mentor junior technicians and provide guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and parts, to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory and order supplies and parts as needed
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and stay informed about new technologies and techniques

Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a technician in the automotive industry
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
