EnviroVantage is growing and looking for an HR Manager.  

With your main focus on creative ways of finding and retaining talent, and compliance with state and federal regulations, you will ensure that our Company provides our clients with the best service and the brightest team in the industry. Additional responsibilities include managing employee onboarding, policy & procedure development, and performance management. As a great fit for this role you will be a self-starter, enjoy developing innovative approaches to solving human resources and business challenges, enjoy working with a small, close-knit team on-site. 

HR Manager Responsibilities:  

  • Manage the talent acquisition process, which may include recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified job applicants for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborate with departmental managers to understand the skills and competencies required for openings 

  • Oversee regular internal audits to assess HR practices, policies, and records for compliance. 

  • Coordinate external and internal reporting requirements including EEOC, OFCCP, and AAP reports. 

  • Lead workplace investigations and disciplinary procedures. 

  • Maintain a smooth onboarding process and implement retention programs. 

  • Responsible for organization wide engagement and recognition initiatives 

  • Provide training, counseling, and coaching to leaders and team members. 

  • Resolve conflicts through positive and professional mediation.  

  • Conduct annual performance and wage reviews.  

  • Maintain workplace health and safety compliance in partnership with the safety team.  

  • Maintain employee and workplace privacy. 

  • Stay current on employment laws, regulations, legislative changes and industry best practices to continuously enhance and update compliance programs. 

  • Other duties as required 

    *** This role will be an ON SITE position located at the EnviroVantage headquarters

Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or equivalent.  

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in human resources or related field.   

  • Professional HR certification such as SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, HRCI, or equivalent preferred 

  • Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy. 

  • Strong knowledge of relevant federal, health and safety laws (e.g., OFCCP, EEO, OSHA, DOL)  

  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in the construction and/or environmental remediation fields
