Job DescriptionJob Description#zrWe are seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to work 3pm - 11pm for our client located in Northern Westchester, NY. This is a Permanent, Direct Hire opportunity.Hourly Rate: $35.05 per hour with a 10% shift differential.Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a responsible individual to assure continuity of care, maintain legal documentation of care as required by law, and guarantee nursing best practices are followed within defined scope of practice.
  • Collaborates and communicates with DON, Director of organization's personnel services, other medical staff and organization members to ensure efficient care delivery based on Member’s needs.
  • Supports the organization's vision and mission.
  • Utilizes knowledge of Member’s age and cultural diversity as it relates to the provision of care.
Essential Services Personnel are expected to report to work under all circumstances including inclement weather-related conditions, holidays, etc. They are to adhere to the shift schedules established by their supervisors or as directed by them.Qualifications:
  • A NYS LPN license is required.
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality according to all applicable laws.
  • Long term / Geriatric experience preferred.
  • Candidate should possess strong assessment skills to facilitate occasional post op and/or emergency care.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Computer skills preferred.
  • Candidate must be able to work independently.
