Job Description: As a Host and Cashier at Global Partners, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and handling payments. Your role will be key in providing an exceptional first impression and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Reception:
- Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome as they arrive.
- Assist with checking in clients and visitors, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate locations.
- Manage reservations and coordinate seating arrangements, especially during peak times.
Cashier Duties:
- Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Assist customers with any billing inquiries or issues, providing clear and helpful explanations.
Customer Service:
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Provide information about the company, services, and any ongoing promotions or events.
- Ensure that the reception and payment areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Assist with coordinating events, meetings, and other activities as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service, cashier, or host/hostess role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and experience handling cash and credit transactions.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in hospitality or related fields are a plus.
