Position Overview:

The Housekeeper is responsible for the internal appearance of the assigned Community. Most importantly, our property management philosophy is maintaining strong customer service and resident satisfaction, which starts with each and every leasing consultant on the Fortis team.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**):

You work alongside a team of leasing agents in the office and maintenance technicians, groundskeepers, and a maintenance supervisor on your property, all under the direction of your property/community manager. There, your contribution to the team is specifically:

Facility Management

? Perform assigned general cleaning tasks within assigned community.

? Ensure all housekeeping requests are completed in a timely fashion.

? Uses cleaning supplies and substances in a safe and responsible manner.

? Daily communication with the Property Manager to discuss progress, follow-up, or complications regarding housekeeping activities.

? Performs other duties as assigned.

Resident Relations

? Provide superior customer service

Administration

? Maintain a professional image and attitude

? Adherence to and proper implementation of all Fortis Properties Management policies and procedures

? Knowledge of and adherence to the following:

  • Fair Housing policies and procedures
  • ADA policies and procedures

? Other duties as needed or required

Supervision Received:

The Housekeeper will report to the Community Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

? Education

  • High School graduate or equivalent

? Experience

  • Some previous experience in housekeeping in a corporate or professional environment
