Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEWA Government Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer eager to develop a broad range of hardware design skills. The hardware engineering team in Mount Laurel supports system design and performs detailed design of radar subsystems. Designs include RF/Microwave chassis of equipment, mixed-signal PCBs, RF PCBs, Mixed signal chassis, Real-time control equipment, and User Interface stations. Our designs are highly programmable, so FPGA firmware designs are commonly done. You will interface with the systems, software and mechanical team members to bring your design to life, and see it delivered to the customer.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
Work with the systems engineering group to develop detailed hardware requirements and design approaches for hardware subsystems.

To implement your design, you will choose components to meet design requirements, generate schematics and other design documentation, develop critical layout/assembly requirements, oversee material procurement to have design produced (components, PCB layout/fab), develop test plans, test final product to analyze how performance compares with system-level requirements and make modifications if necessary.

Assist in the creation of reports, presentations, and manuals as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
BSEE with 0 to 5 years’ experience

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Understanding of circuit theory, basic test equipment operation (scope, spectrum analyzer) and ability to understand schematics.

Proficient in MS Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong understanding of RF circuit theory and application.

Experience performing modeling and simulation of RF.

Strong communications skills.
