The Sales Porter is responsible for assisting the Sales Staff to ensure our customers receive excellent service. This individual takes care of vehicles in the Sales department when the vehicle is not actively being shown to customers.

Essential Functions and Duties:
- Properly merchandise all inventory vehicles for sales.
- Ensure all frontline vehicles are customer ready.
- Drive vehicles from the back lot to their proper places in the sales parking lot.
- Maintain the parking lot in a neat and organized manner. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform various clerical tasks as assigned by sales management.
- Maintain a valid local area driver’s license and immediately inform management of any changes in its status.
- Other duties as assigned
- Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.
- Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, its personnel, or customers.
- Maintain personal grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards according to departmental policies.
- Arrive at work, take breaks, and depart work at the times designated by management.
- Attend meetings and trainings as scheduled.
- Ensure that work areas and customer waiting areas are kept clean
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Good judgment
- Ability to handle machinery safely
- Must be able to drive manual transmission
- Must be outgoing and able to give a good impression to customers
- Professional personal appearance
