A Reconstruction Project Manager will oversee all aspects of assigned reconstruction projects to ensure projects are completed to the expectations of Paul Davis Restoration and to the customers satisfaction. The role will manage subcontractors, develop project timelines, assign production tasks, oversee craftsmanship and quality of work, develop and adhere to project budgets, and maintain lines of communication with stakeholders. This role will work cross functionally within the organization and with external stakeholders to achieve the duties and responsibilities outlined below.

  • Project Management
  • Manage scope / job specific insurance estimates.
  • Contour work orders based off project budgets. o Create and assign purchase orders to subcontractors.
  • Develop GANNT charts and schedules in RMS to establish project timelines.
  • Meet gross profit goals as set by Paul Davis Restoration.
  • Collect funds due for assigned projects and provide accurate information for source of payment.
  • Assist the accounting department in collections on an as needed basis.
  • Subcontractors o Recruit and manage a porNolio of subcontractors.
  • Be responsible for subcontractor performance.
  • Assign subcontractors to production tasks based on ability.
  • Develop and provide purchase orders to subcontractors. o Oversee workmanship and quality control for all work completed by subcontractors.
  • Ensure subcontractors remain compliant with Paul Davis Restoration policies and procedures.
  • Customer Engagement
  • Communicate project milestones to all stakeholders.
  • Work directly with reconstruction coordinator as required to maintain lines of communication.
  • Job Scope / Estimating
  • Scope assigned projects to determine production tasks.
  • Ensure job scope / insurance estimates are inclusive of appropriate production tasks.
  • Partner with Reconstruction estimating team to obtain supplements as required.
  • Create property improvement bids and change order bids as required.
  • Code and Compliance
  • The Project Manager will ensure that all projects are completed per municipal codes.
  • Project Manager will determine all required permits for reconstruction projects and ensure that all permits are filed within the municipalities.
  • Data Management o Complete and retain all required agreements, authorizations, certificates, and sign off sheets.
  • Enter data accurately and timely into Restoration Management System (RMS) for all assigned projects.
  • Establish and maintain an up-to-date calendar of all production tasks in RMS.
  • Any other duties assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • BS in Project Management is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years in construction project management is strongly preferred.
  • Analytical and strong organizational skills with excellent verbal and written ability.
  • 1 year or more experience with Xactimate/Symbility estimating software is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple construction projects with varying complexity.
  • Understanding of Nextgear/CoreLogic RMS is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret job scopes/insurance reconstruction estimates.
  • Experience working with insurance TPA's.
