General Responsibilities/Job Summary

Seeking a multifaceted individual who is Forklift certified with a mechanical mindset. This position will share duties between putting away, retrieving, and unloading products while responding to calls to changeover and troubleshooting equipment. This full-time, 1st shirt associate will work in our climate-controlled Distribution Center. Responsibilities:

  • Ability to changeover and set up production machines to run multiple applications.
  • Servicing and maintaining equipment, including motors, conveyor systems, and production-related equipment.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking to troubleshoot and detect malfunctioning
  • Possess the discipline to execute tasks without procrastination, exercise time management, and plan work orders based on urgency.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
  • Source replacement parts and perform repairs.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks.
  • Keep a record of maintenance activities to track the lifespan of the equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance around the building, such as fixing structural damage
  • Safely operate forklifts, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Forklift experience a must

Qualifications:

  • A High School diploma or GED is strongly preferred; a combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Prior RF scanner experience picking orders (Recommended)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible to change; willing to move around to other areas
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Manually lift, push-pull, or carry merchandise weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to stand and work on a concrete floor for extended periods
  • Attention to detail is a must
